Bass beams has been a leading manufacturer for more than 20 years producing pre-cast / pre-stressed self-supporting suspended flooring and structural lintels to engineers specifications together with electric fence poles (with uniquely cast in-situ plugs) and pre-cast stairs.Our products are used in the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors extensively. With vacant land becoming scarcer and more expensive the trend to develop upwards has gained momentum. The bass beams unique system lends itself to cost effectiveness through time-saving (up to 600m2 being erected in a single day) by utilising a qualified labour force and modern equipment, with little or no disturbance to occupants. The production side of the company was headed by duncan deane in 1987. Duncan acquired the company shortly thereafter and has been a hands-on managing director to the present time. Due to his technical expertise and the product quality the company outgrew its premises in queensburgh. With a view to the future vacant land was obtained in the fast-growing industrial area of cato ridge and a modern plant erected which further enhanced the product quality and finish. This move has brought about a substantial shortening of lead-in time from placing of order to completion of erection, once again placing emphasis on time and money saving. Company policy demands regular certification of staff and equipment thus ensuring quality of product, workmanship and industrial safety.
